Shuang is a Ph.D. candidate in Bioinformatics at Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich, affiliated with the Canzar Lab. She received her B.S. in Bioengineering from Fujian Agriculture and Forestry University in 2016, and her M.S. in Computational Biology from Shanghai Jiao Tong University in 2020. Her research focuses on improving Nanopore single-cell RNA-seq data analysis by developing methods to correct cell barcode and UMI errors, to enhance transcriptomic profiling accuracy and reliability.
